The 19th session of the Codex Committee on Contaminants in Foods will be held in Cairo, Egypt, from 19 to 23 October 2026. The opening session will begin at 09:00 UTC+03:00 on Monday, 19 October 2026. The Session will be conducted in Arabic, English, French and Spanish.

Additional working modalities Remote participation Remote participation, including verbal interventions via Zoom, will be available for all plenary sessions. However, Members are encouraged to ensure that at least one delegate attends in person, as participation in in-session working groups will be limited to delegates present on site. Codex Members and Observers wishing to participate remotely must register through the Codex Online Registration System (ORS) on the Codex website (see Online Pre-Registration). Webcast The session will be broadcast live in listening mode for Codex Members, Observers, and the general public. Registration through the ORS is therefore not required for those wishing only to follow the webcast (see Online Pre-Registration). Please scroll down to the section entitled “Webcasting” to access the links for each day of CCCF19.

REGISTRATION

On-line Registration All delegates attending in person or wishing to intervene virtually via Zoom must register through the Codex Online Registration System (ORS) by 19 September 2026. Access to the virtual working group meetings will be provided after registration for the session. Delegations intending only to follow the webcast should not register through ORS. The webcast links will be made available on this page shortly before the meeting. Login credentials for online registration have been provided to all Codex Contact Points and Contact Points of Observer Organizations. If you have not received the login details, please contact Codex@fao.org. Seminar for first-time delegates A seminar (in English) for first-time delegates will be held on Sunday, 18 October, from 17:30 to 18:00 UTC+03:00.
