GENERAL INFORMATION
The 24th Session of the FAO/WHO Coordinating Committee for Latin America and the Caribbean will be held at Intendencia of Montevideo, Montevideo, Uruguay, from 23 to 27 November 2026. Remote participation (verbal interventions via Zoom) will be possible for all plenary sessions; however, Members may wish to plan to have at least one in-person delegate attend the session in order to guarantee their participation in pre-session and in-session working groups, for which remote participation will not be possible. The opening session will begin at 10.00 UYT on Monday, 23 November 2026. Additional logistical details will be made available on this page. Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in English and Spanish during the meeting. Wi-Fi will be available at the meeting venue. Working documents and other information can also be downloaded during the meeting. ONLINE PRE-REGISTRATION
All participants should provide their information (names and addresses) through the online registration system by accessing the link below, at the latest by 31 October 2026. Login and password for the online registration have been provided to all Codex Contact Points. If the login and password have not been received, please contact Codex@fao.org. DOCUMENTS
The documents for the session are available in English and Spanish. There will be no distribution of working documents (including the report of the session) through the Codex mailing list (Codex-L) except for circular letters. All working documents, including conference room documents, information for delegates and other relevant materials, will be published on the Codex website as they become available. We kindly remind you to obtain all documentation from the Codex website prior to the meeting as printed documents will not be made available at the session.
